"The convenience to the caverns is definitely a big plus. I have never stayed here while the water park was open but that seems fun. I loved being able to travel here with my pet and even though I it didn't know at first that my pet was going to come with me, they had no problems finding me a room. It was clean and I felt safe and good here. . Only problem. There's no food around for purchase after a certain time. And then you end up having to go to Carlsbad. Even though though the whole point is to be close to the caverns, do you end up going further away for food. Trade-offs, I guess."

"The rooms are newly renovated and the beds were comfy which was a nice surprise. A little bit lacking general space in the lobby for breakfast and vending options. Overall it was great tho!"
