Excellent!
We had a great time. Great location. The house is clean and well taken care of. Walter is communicative and welcoming. It snowed, and we were able to go out on a guided hike at the Ridges Sanctuary. Enjoyed the peacefulness of Sister Bay at this time of year. We would love to go back.

Amazing location
We stayed here for the Fall50 race. Location is amazing, walking distance to the beach, all the shops, restaurants. Can’t wait to come back with my family. Highly recommend this property. Only regret is that the race kept us so busy we didn’t get to enjoy the property or area more.

This is a great property! Enough space for a small family, cozy, clean, great location, lots of usable items in case you forget something. Toys and beach gear in the garage. Two bikes. Snow shoes for winter. Fully stocked kitchen for meals at home. View of the beach. We love it and hope to stay again!!

Wonderful location right near town. Very clean and cute little place. There is a nice little yard with fire pit, and room for yard games. Love that you can see the lake from the living room. So peaceful. Would definitely stay again!

Gem by the beach
We stayed here for a full week and will try to book this home each year from now on. For a home in Sister Bay, this location is hard to beat - it is walking distance to everything! The beach and park are steps away, which had several events like movies in the park, fireworks, and live music while we were there. The house is clean and has everything we could have needed for our stay including a fully stocked kitchen, a lovely backyard deck, and a game room with bumper pool and fooseball. We had an absolute blast here!!

Perfect Hosts and a Perfect Place
The hosts were so hospitable and thought of everything we may want or need and provided it for us. The location was great too, within close walking distance of all the attractions, but still quiet. I would definitely recommend this place and these hosts!

It was easy to rent. Instructions were clear. Home was clean and organized. Lots of hooks, plug outlets, had everything you need but a dishwasher, but that is not a necessity. Walkable to great restaurants, and live music and the beautiful water.

Good Place to Stay
The only complaint we have is that there was a lack of towels. We had to go out procure some on our own. Otherwise, nice place, and we'll stay there again if available when we return.

perfect vacation cottage in Sister Bay
We've stayed at the cottage several times and we love it every time. The size is great for a family of four, or easily more. The location is perfect for swimming or walking Sister Bay and plenty of other parks and fun throughout northern Door County. The ping pong and foosball in the basement are a nice addition too. Thank you.

Not only was the cabin in a great location, no more than a 2 minute drive to all necessary spots in Sister Bay, but also a clean and comfortable space for a gathering! The property owner, Walter, was very easy and accessible when it came to communicating and answering questions. 10/10!

PERFECT Location in Sister Bay
We LOVED our stay at the little blue house of Sister Bay! Location was absolutely perfect...right behind the main drag of Sister Bay and a stones throw from the beach/park. Everything is within walking distance. We stayed with our 3 young kids (all under 5) and it worked well for them too...the bunk bed was a HUGE hit. Will definitely be returning to this wonderful property.

Only aspect of the stay that was a little confusing was that the online contract and the directions for departure at the house were different. House was clean and close to everything. The house was in a perfect location for our mini stay in sister bay. The beach was very close as well as some of the shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Fantastic place in a great location
We loved every minute of our stay in the sister bay getaway. It was phenomenal to be able to walk right downtown, and gorgeous outdoor experiences were available within a short drive at Peninsula State Park and Washington Island. The house was warm and comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the ping-pong table in the basement was a fun bonus! Would absolutely recommend staying here, and would love to return for summer or fall.

Incredible Location and Adorable Home
This was such an amazing location with a water view right out of the living room and kitchen windows, and such a spacious two bedroom adorable cabin with fire pit, deck in the back. My mom and I took my two kids up here for our annual three generation vacation and we had the best time. It is a short walk to the beach and downtown area, and I cannot say enough about the property owner Walter. He was extremely accommodating and available for any questions that we had. I almost hate to write this review because I want it to be available every weekend that I want to go up there! I cannot say enough, I would read it 10 stars if I could!
