This is our third time staying here, it is in a nice location, well kept up, and fits our needs. Hopefully we will be able to stay there again next year.
Met a bunch of girlfriends for a girls weekend and we had the best time! Joe and Angie’s cabin is so gorgeous, a huge yard, fun zip line, and a grill to cook burgers! We had the best time, already thinking about our next trip!!!
We've stayed here several times and its always been a great place to enjoy great times. It's a beautiful property and well located. The owners have always been perfect hosts and we feel fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy such a great property. Their communication is as good as it gets and they truly want you to enjoy their beautiful lake home. We love it and are thankful for the great times we've shared there. Thank you!
He had a nice stay. The place was beautiful. Right on the lake. Perfect swimming area in front (didnt hardly swim due to cooler/rainy weather). Did have an abundance amount of firewood as thats what we mainly did again due to weather. They had a trampoline, zipline (which were major hits for the kids (15yrs, 12 yrs, 10yrs and 8). Paddle boat, canoe, yard game ect. Already looked to rebook again (but unfortunately its sold out). Will most definitely be staying again though. Communication with host was great. Lots of beds as well. Great place!

Just what we were looking for
We enjoyed the chance to stay at this chalet on Clam Lake. It has the modern amenities we appreciated to base our hunting camp. Rustic cabins may be nostalgic, but having a modern, well-maintained cabin with rustic touches like this place has made our stay a treat. We had only four adults, so there was plenty of room for us to have our own bedrooms. Three bathrooms was a bonus as well. The kitchen, dining and living areas gave us plenty of room to gather, tell stories about past hunts or our outdoor experiences the day. We've been coming to the area for many years, and the cabin is convenient to local amenities and the woods we we hunt. I'm certain it would be a perfect up north get away in the summer when the lake is beckoning. For us, it was a place to reconnect with long-time friends and continue our deer camp tradition.
Angie was a responsive and helpful host. We appreciate the hospitality! Thank you.
Our group enjoyed another great stay at the Clam Lake cabin. It's become a part of our annual November gathering to hunt the woods of Burnett County. The cabin is a perfect gathering place to reconnect, share stories and relax. It has plenty of room and everything you need for your northwoods retreat. Joe and Angie are great hosts. They're responsive to questions and want to make sure you enjoy your stay. We've been privileged to enjoy the cabin a number of times and we'd definitely like to come back. We certainly appreciate bring able to stay there. Thank you!
The chalet was gorgeous. Could have been a lot cleaner than it was. But it did not disappoint. We have vacationed on Clam Lake for almost 30 years but in 2016 decided not to come back because the fishing was not like it used to be. We still didn’t catch many but were pleasantly pleased with how the lake is trying to come back. There was moss again and we actually caught a few bluegill although too small to keep. The grounds at the cabin were beautiful and we enjoyed the yard immensely. The owners were great to work with and we would enjoy coming again next year if it’s available. Thank you so much Joe and Angie
This Clam Lake cabin is very nice. We stayed here one weekend in February but I think this is a place to go in the summer when the lake can be enjoyed!
I would definitely recommend staying here! The place is very clean, well kept, and it is so relaxing. There was lots to do for all ages. We will for sure be back again!

This was a perfect getaway for our family. Beautiful cabin and property with a nice, level lot. The Zipline was a fun addition! We would definitely stay again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean, well stocked and well maintained. Thank you for the use of the kayaks, canoe, zip line and trampoline! We also appreciated the free firewood for bonfires in the evening. We had three generations in our group and everyone loved the cabin, setting and amenities.
The house was well appointed. We were two couples enjoying the lake/fishing, hiking, playing card games, and just hanging out. The septic alarm did go off on our first full day there, and we held off 24 hours+ of showering, dishwashing, etc., for fear of overflowing the septic. The biggest drawback was the water quality. We've all lived in rural areas and had well water, but this water was pretty unbearable - sulphuric and bad-tasting. We had to go buy several jugs of bottled water for cooking, tooth brushing, coffee, etc. Couldn't get the dish to work either. Overall, a nice getaway, but the water would give me pause in booking again.
Plenty of space for 9 adults and our 2 year old grandson. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We would definitely stay at this property again. Absolutely lovely.
Cabin was as good or better than advertised. Very clean, well equipped, attractive with great amenities- especially for a family or group of people. Owners very easy to work with. Hope to stay again.
This is a great location to unwind after a busy week! Joe and Angie were very accommodating, friendly and super communicative! We will definitely try to stay here again. Thanks for a great experience!
We had a wonderful time, the weather couldn't have been nicer. It was just the two of us on our 45th anniversary. If you go as a family there are outdoor activities and indoor games galore for the kids. Very quiet area, nice size lake.

8 related women in their 30s,40s,50s,60s and 70s. We Loved this place. Beautifully maintained, comfortable beds, super well equipped kitchen, and responsive accomadating owners. Fair price too. The zip line was hilarious! Too much rain though, but plenty to do indoors. Close proximity to the cities allowed a couple of busy nieces to join us for just one night.

This was a family friendly spot with plenty of activities. Very welcoming house and grounds!
A wonderfully equipped cabin with all the amenities to help a family( or 2) make the most of Wisconsin lake country. Everything was ready for us. The warm summer had the lake very green and weedy which was the only hitch for us -but we swam at the Crooked Lake park in town - which has a playground - it’s was a great outing. We also explored the St. Croix River and the Crex refuge- very cool daytrips.
