We had a wonderful bungalow (sanctuary villa) and we enjoyed everything at coco groove. Superfriendly staff, very good food in the restaurants and a dream-beach.
But you have to be carful, while booking-there are many different roomtypes and our friends were very unhappy with the villa they booked.

Lovely place. Staff can’t do enough for you. Very kind owners who even offered complimentary pick up service from the port. Gave lots of good advice for touring the island and provided good motorbike to rent. Secluded from the noise of the tourist areas. Has nice onsite bar. Would definitely stay again!

We recently spent 20 days at Salaya Beach Houses, with 16 days of incredible diving, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
We stayed in a penthouse room, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days of adventure. Absolutely loved this place. The only issue we had was that food we had for our evening meal was not great. We ate there on our first night and it wasn’t great. We ate again on our second night thinking it must be better but it wasn’t. Our third night we decided to venture out for dinner and ate at a place very close called Soga and the food there was so good. Apart from that the hotel and staff were amazing and I would definitely return

It's the little things that make this place something to come back to: welcome drinks upon arrival, welcome drinks when our boat returned from an island day-trip, staff who call guests by name, and the staff that checked us into our flight AND sent someone to the airport to fetch our boarding passes. It makes the food prices and rather out-of-the-way location (40min from city) quite insignificant details.

Rooms are small but clean and with good aircon.
Good that there is an airport shuttle, and that it’s also really close to the ferry terminal.
Very noisy though if you’re on the end, it’s like there isn’t a window in, and you can hear everything outside so clearly.
Didn’t realise there was a communal kitchen / pantry on each floor, would be good to explain this at check in as I was disappointed not to have a fridge.
Rooms are small but clean and with good aircon.
