Do Not Stay at this Property!!!!!
Check in was 4p. I didn’t receive hear anything at 4p. I msg’d the owner at about 4:15p no response . I called the # listed in VRBO APP it went straight to voicemail; I left msg still no response. I called VRBO. They couldn’t reach owner. Then I got a voicemail from Property Mngr who said he wasn’t aware of my booking (well how did you get my # is what I thought but ok). He said the place wasn’t clean and asked if I could give him an hour to clean it. I said yes. He called at 5:45p and said he had cleaned it and I could come over. He sent me the lockbox code and we went over. When we entered the place smelled like an animal had been in there. There was long hair all over the bathroom toilet, tub, sink, and window seal. The fridge was not clean or the counters. We wiped everything down. There was animal hair all over the pillows on the couch. I pulled the covers back off the beds and the king size bed had urine stains and animal hair all over. There was a stench of urine that permeated the room after the covers were pulled off the bed. I then texted the manager he lied and said that was not possible because he spot mopped the entire place and changed the bed. I explained to him and sent pics of everything. He continued to lie. I messaged owner no answer. Was told he was out of the country. I called VRBO to inform them of everything. They had no idea the owner was out of the country and I had to give them the name and number of the supposed property manager. We didn’t stay!
