It offers space for 6 people and has a beautiful covered veranda with a beautiful view over the palm trees, the tropical garden and the flamingo lake. With the beautiful white sandy beach within walking distance, this place offers everything to guarantee a great relaxing holiday. Our villa is one of the few detached villas on Blue Bay, so without upstairs or downstairs neighbors. Our villa: \- is spacious (155 m2 area), for a maximum of 6 guests, for example 3 bedrooms \- is very close to the pool. Beach, restaurants, and amenities are all within walking distance. \- Has a nice view over the tropical garden but is at the same time sheltered so offers sufficient privacy \- is on the ground floor, so no neighbors above or below and no stairs that can be dangerous for children. Suitable for guests with mobility problems. \- recently completely refurbished, everything neat and clean, also suitable for (small) children. Cot, high chair, beach and swimming toys, books and games are all available. \- has its own Internet / WiFi connection and TV with AppleTV, free to use. Internet has been upgraded to an extra fast fiber optic connection. \- Both 220v and 110v connections are available. There are also sufficient adapters. The recently renovated kitchen is fully equipped with all conveniences (crockery, cookware, Nespresso, blender, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, sandwich maker, gourmet grill, etc.). The kitchen is of course also equipped with basic necessities such as pepper, salt, spices, oil, coffee and tea. The local supermarket is a five minute drive away. But we can also recommend a delicious lunch or dinner at the beach restaurant (with your feet in the sand). Bed linen, towels, kitchen linen and beach towels are provided and are included in the rent. There is also a washing machine and detergent in the villa, ready for use if desired. Our guests get unlimited access to all Blue Bay facilities, including the beach with free sun beds, the beach bar, the restaurants, kids club, tennis court etc. The Blue Bay Resort is a secured resort with 24-hour security. It is child friendly and very safe. Blue Bay is being extended here and there, so there may sometimes be construction work at the resort, but not in the immediate vicinity of our villa. Blue Bay Golf offers a professional 18-hole par 72 golf course with fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea and the most diverse tropical plants along the fairway. You even have to cross the sea between the exit site and the green of hole 5! Our villa is located in the middle of a beautiful and well-kept tropical garden. This means that animals such as lizards, insects and tropical birds also occur around the villa. Blue Bay provides a stray cat program. These cats are supplied with food and receive medical care. In turn, they provide pest control, so guests should not feed the cats. In case of allergies, the proximity of nearby cats is something to be reckoned with. Blue Bay is a great place for snorkeling and diving. Blue Bay Dive offers two unique dive sites, the 'Wall' and the 'Garden'. At the PADI certified diving school you can follow a course or rent your equipment. From the beach you can walk straight into the Caribbean Sea and swim through the bay to the coral reef. But snorkeling is also absolutely beautiful at Blue Bay. Because of the calm sea the view is excellent and even inside the bay you can see beautiful underwater life. For children we have a set of snorkels, masks and fins in the villa. If you want tips on great diving locations, feel free to ask us, we do know a few. We do not live permanently on the island, but our host and wife live close by and know the island like the back of their hand. We ensure that we are always ready for anything, and of course we take the time to explain the villa, the resort and the island. The picturesque Willemstad is only a 15-minute drive away, the airport is also 15 minutes away. We recommend renting a car so that you are flexible during your vacation. It is important to use water and energy on the island consciously and economically. That is why we pay the water and electricity costs separately with the guests. We really enjoyed our stay and found this specific villa offered a bit more privacy than most of the others. It was well equipped with everything we needed and the hosts and property managers were great to deal with the whole time. Quick walk to the pool or beach and easy driving access to the whole island. We found the villa very clean and comfortable. The outside space is beyond expectation. The lovely breezes and ceiling fans keep the outside area comfortable. The villa was well appointed and we were able to eat most of our meals there and not need anything that wasn't provided. The electric grill on the deck was very nice to have for steaks and fish. Communication with the owners and local property manager was excellent. We would tell anyone to rent this villa and enjoy time in Blue Bay Paradise! ##### Mary P. Beautiful location, great hospitality. Where to begin? The communication on how to get to the property, from where to park to how to access the key was thorough and easy to understand. We met Wil the property manager soon after arrival and he was exceptional. The home was spacious with three bedrooms, each with it's own mini-split air conditioner which we used only at night. We spent time outside, used the grill, at at the large table and lounged on the couch and in the hammock. Having access to the resort amenities and beach made the experience even better as our kids could go grab a milkshake or go for a swim without us. The restaurant food was great. I would give 10 stars! Reminder to use bug spray and sunscreen and you will have a wonderful time exploring Curacao from Villa38\. It's location is close to the airport but in the middle of all the sites you will want to see incuding Hato Caves, Shete Boka, Hofi Mango, take a guided tour of Williamstad and you will discover places you want to return to. My teens had a GREAT time and loved the villa also. HIGHLY recommend. ##### Jennifer H. This year was exceptionally rainy so the pesky bugs were out in full force. Kitchen supplies were provided ahead of arrival which was thoughtful but needs more utensils to cook with. Eg. bowls cutlery, steak knives, bbq utensils. The screens in the bathrooms and kitchen windows are full of dirt and need cleaning. The beds are very hard but we managed to adjust after a month. Property upkeep is a must for us as it adds to the homey feeling of wanting to return. All that being said we did have a warm wonderful time. ##### Karen G. This year was an exceptionally wet Jan and Feb resulting in a lot of noseeums and mosquitos. The property itself needs to be painted inside and on the underside of the deck roof. Also the deck should be pressure washed. The Villa does provide alot of amenities to start you off but lacked in certain kitchen items like a lime squeezer, crock pot, and useful utensils for cooking. Plastic doesn’t work so well. Having said that we adjusted to make it work. A car is a must to see the island and get groceries. Literally the grocery store is a 3 minute drive out of the Villa. ##### Karen G. Goed uitgeruste keuken, heerlijke bedden, mooie rustige plek met veel privacy, om de hoek van het zwembad. Op loopafstand van het heerlijke Blue Bay strand met ligbedjes. We zijn blij dat we deze vrijstaande villa gekozen hebben, in het park zijn namelijk ook dubbele villa’s. Parkeerplaats is ook vlakbij. Bij aankomst op vliegveld Hato zijn we opgehaald door Remi, de auto-verhuurder, hij bracht ons naar de villa waar Wil, de beheerder al op ons stond te wachten. We konden alle vragen stellen, ook gedurende ons verblijf goed contact gehad. Strandlakens en snorkelset aanwezig, ook speelgoed voor de kleintjes voor het strand en zwembad. Contact met de eigenaar vooraf via e-mail ook netjes en snelle reacties. De hangmat was zeer in trek bij de kinderen en we hebben bijna elke avond gebruik gemaakt van de elektrische bbq. Het huis was bij aankomst zeer schoon. Daarnaast is het erg fijn dat er kinderspeelgoed/spelletjes/strandspullen etc zijn die je mag gebruiken.
