We booked a 3 night stay as part of a longer tour. The room was comfortable if not a little dated but the service, food and proximity to local attractions such as Little India, Arab Street, and very nearby access to MRT made this an ideal location. Special mention to Kavita who looked after us so well during our stay. It's a lovely boutique hotel. From the moment you enter through the front door, it's quiet, stylish, peaceful and cool. I had an ordinary room, not large, but very pretty. I felt comfortable and relaxed. Some really nice and interesting design features, like the bathroom door that is really a wall, and the panel that slides back and forth allowing entry into either the excellent shower or the rest of the bathroom--maximizing the space. The lobby and whisky bar are so plush with cool lighting -- you'll feel like a celebrity. Finally, the neighborhood is really the best. So many interesting restaurants and bars--alive at all hours, while somehow being not too loud or busy at all. The “air conditioning” was just warm air that barely blew. Maintenance came up and said it was fine, but we felt like we were suffocating since the windows didn’t open. The other issues were that the bathroom flooded everyone we took a shower, and the television didn’t work at all.
