I stayed at 3 different hostels in Singapore (all 4+ stars rated), and Dream Lodge was by far the best:
- Location: Situated in between Lavender MRT and Farrer Park MRT, Dream Lodge is super accessible, making it easy to come in and come out. It's surrounded by a lot of restaurants and a food centre, so you're covered if you get hungry.
- Comfort:
*Beds: The mattresses seem to be new, they're thick and NOT super soft like the used ones. With curtains and interior lights, you can have privacy when you need it.
*Rooms: The rooms are spacious, having enough space to walk around without bumping with anyone. The A/C and fans keep the temperature just right. In my experience (being there 2 weeks), the rooms are pretty silent, if you want to talk most people go to the kitchen/main area.
*Bathrooms: With 6 private bathrooms to share, I had no issues getting one at any time. Floor does get wet and you're provided with flip flops for the bathroom, which is a bit annoying, but it cannot be helped (I mean, it's a hostel for a reason).
- Lockers: Located just below the beds, the lockers let me leave my huge backpack underneath it with room to spare.
- Cleanliness: Every single day they clean the rooms, bathrooms, and main area. Every 3-5 days they'll change your bedsheets/towel (or whenever you request it).
-Security: You're provided with an electronic tag bracelet, which makes it super easy (and secure) to come in and come out.
-Staff: Everybody is super nice, helpful, and accommodating
