The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, and the mudroom was super convenient to stash all of our gear in. The only issue we had was that the guests in the upstairs unit liked to stay up late in the room above the master bedroom, and I had to ask them a couple of times to keep it down. Wax room works great for securely storing bikes when not in use, and the 'drying' room works well for airing out all the mtb gear. Hot tub is excellent, but sized for 2 adults, maybe 3-4 depending on your closeness level. Hot Tub is out of the sun early, so it can still be used on hot days. One note, this unit gets full sun early so its bright in the early AM. Sun comes off quickly (noonish) and allows the unit to cool down. ##### Kyle K. Everything from communication and check-in to the apartment contents and location was great. Karen and Phil were very responsive. All our requests got accommodated quickly. The condo itself felt like home. Everything we needed was available, nicely thought of by the owners for the convenience of their guests. Just keep in mind that the hot tub is really only for two adults. When a third one tries to get in the water spills over. We talked to the tub service guys who showed up every morning, asked them why they overfilled the tub, and they told us that it was a normal water level for a 2-person tub. Skiing in to the slopes was simple and quite easy except for some short steep climb behind the building right onto the trail on top of the ski bridge. Once on the trail, put on your skis/board, slide down across the bridge, and in another 100 metres or so you'll see the top of Silver Woods Express chair on your right. From there, take either Aberdeen Skiway (green run) or just ski down under the chairlift (Roller Coaster blue run) until you hit Aberdeen crossing at 90 degrees. Take Aberdeen Skiway to the left, and after an easy short slide you get to the base of Comet Express 6-chair, the main lift of the resort, around which the majority of the popular runs are located. Skiing out of the slopes back to the apartment is a bit more complex, but still doesn't require any walking. Overall, amazing experience! Thank you, Karen and Phil! ##### Serge M. It was spacious and bright, with lots of counter space and convenience. The private hot tub was an extra treat. The owners were quick to reply to messages and very easy to work with. There were lots of things missing - the fireplace didn't work, the stereo didn't work, there was no dishwasher soap, we couldn't find hand towels or tea towels... There were also little touches that aren't required, but we would have hoped to see (especially for the amount of money we were paying!). E.g.: no shampoo in the bathrooms, no dresser/chest of drawers in the second bedroom, no Christmas decorations, limited (and cheap) kitchen appliances. It just felt like there was a lack of care.
