This premium location gives you the best of both worlds. Direct ski in/ski out access from the back door and only a 3 minutes walk along the trail to the village for ski lifts and bike trails. Sunset Peak is a newly renovated, standalone house with enough room for everyone! Walk in the front door and head down a few steps to the main living area. This area boasts an open design with vaulted cedar ceilings and gas fireplace in the great room area, dining room with long dining table and newly renovated kitchen. Just off the kitchen you will find a powder room, laundry room and even a wine fridge! From the front door, you can also head upstairs to the open loft with a pullout couch and three bedrooms. There are two master bedrooms; one with a king bed and ensuite and the other with a queen bed, ensuite and even a cozy sitting area with a TV. This space is perfect for anyone in your group that needs extra privacy. The third bedroom has two queen beds, one sits in an upper loft with a cool kids play area. This home has everything for every age in your group. Head downstairs from here and you will find a den with a gas fireplace, cozy couches and even a foosball table. There is another bedroom and full bathroom too. You will also access your private hot tub off this lower level. Bedroom Configuration: Master Bedroom: Queen Bed (sleeps 2) with living area and pullout couch (sleeps 2) with brand new ensuite Bedroom #2 – King Bed plus ensuite (sleep 2) Bedroom #3 – extra large bedroom with two queen beds (sleeps 4). We reported a malfunction in the fan off the kitchen in the bathroom. It was overheating and the switch on the wall did not turn the fan off so we unplugged in the ceiling. Would be nice to have sharper knives when cutting certain foods. All the beds were comfortable and there were a number of pullout couches. There was space to watch TV, cuddle up on the comfy couches to read, make puzzles... The kitchen was well-stocked in order for us to make our planned meals. Room for everyone to sit around the table. Ski-in if you made it to Silverwoods chair by 3:15 for its last ride up. If you like to ski right up until the last Comet Express chair, then you need to go through the village and walk 4min up from the parking lot. Technically ski-out, however, you must cross the road and it is a flat stretch through the village to top of hill. And the hot tub was very appreciated! ##### Sarah M. Parking is challenging with a very narrow spot for two cards and access to garage only possible if no roof box. Cabing is very well supplied with towels and bedding. Kitchen requires more saucepans and cookware dishes if having to feed 10 (Covid 19 prevented any meals out). Fridge and stove adequately sized for 12\. Appreciated instant refund for when we had to leave for four of party to return to US before border closed. ##### Pauline B. Check in was easy, nice big kitchen, lots of room, bbq, hot tub, secure mountain bike storage, and great proximity to the village. There were even board games and puzzles! Hosts were very responsive. Ultimately, I would choose this place again. The only issues were the garage door was too short so we couldn’t pull our trucks or SUVs with roof boxes inside (which meant street parking got tricky). The bbq was in need of a serious de-greasing. And the basement pull out bed was not comfortable. But ultimately these were not very big issues for us and we were able to work around them. Stayed for a month during January 2018\. Allowed us all the fantastic combination of community living and privacy. The group of us that stayed there could find that elusive private space so no-one felt they were on top of each other. Facilities were perfect - and the hot tub welcome !!! The ability to ski-in/ski-out was an absolute blessing, especially for the early starts. As a bonus the Village was little more than 5 minutes walk away along the skiway.
