This home is ideally situated with arguably the best ski in/ski out on the mountain with a ski way right out the backyard. It is a complete home (without any rental suites) on two levels including a heated garage for storing skis/bikes, as well as a waxing station and a brand-new hot tub and BBQ. Bedroom Configuration: Bedroom One- Queen with ensuite (sleeps 2) Bedroom Two- Double/single and single/single bunk (sleeps 5) Bedroom Three- Double/single (sleeps 3) Bedroom Four- Queen (sleeps 2) Bathrooms: Bathroom One- Full ensuite in the master bedroom Bathroom Two- Full bathroom on upstairs on bedroom level Bathroom Three- Second Full bathroom on upstairs on bedroom level Bathroom Four- Toilet/Shower on the main level This highly sought after home has all the facilities needed for entertainment and relaxation. A comfortable living room contains a television, VCR, and DVD player, as well as a stereo system for listening to CDs and Tapes, and a radio. An open concept kitchen and spacious dining area present the opportunity for relaxing evening meals around the table - no doubt discussing the day's events over a bottle or two. Powder Blue also has 2 coffee machines – one using Keurig K-Cup capsule pods and one drip-style coffee pot. For those not wishing to sample one of the restaurants in the area, the kitchen is complete with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer, stove and oven. There is a brand-new gas barbeque and a private washer/dryer for your laundry. Just for that little bit of extra luxury, this home has a sauna and an outside hot tub - a fantastic way to relax weary muscles after a hard day’s activities. Please note, the hot tub is operational during the ski season only. (Closed from the first weekend in April to the third weekend in November) To use it during a stay outside of the ski season, it may be arranged at an additional fee with enough advance notice. Bonus: The brand-new hot tub is open for both the winter and summer seasons (closed during the shoulder seasons) and the sauna is available for use during your stay. We welcome pets!!! $30.00 per night/per pet plus tax. There are three outdoor parking spots available during your stay. The garage is not available for parking but you may use this to store gear – there is also a waxing bench for you to use. Powder Blue is a fully equipped house with its own laundry facilities. The house is fantastic - it is right on hiking and biking trails. The riding at Silver Star whether you are into downhill or cross country is great. After a day of riding hard, the sauna and hot tub were a welcome relief for aching muscles. The house is incredibly organized and being a cook, the kitchen is well appointed with good knives and all the equipment one would need to create great meals. I would change NOT A SINGLE thing in this lovely house. ##### sarah b. With some upgrades and improved ammenities and a little TLC , this property would go from 2.5/3 stars to 4- 4.5\. The number of bathrooms was also great, however we rarely had enough hot water to have more than two showers, or run the dish washer. It is likely a very very small tank (too small for a 4-bath home!), so plan accordingly. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need including pots, pans, cooking utensils, spices, cooling racks etc. The only thing missing was paper towels (we didn't know, otherwise we would have bought some in Vernon!) Location is pretty prime!! The initial walk to the village to buy lift tickets was the longest walk (\~7mins if that?) (DONT TAKE THE SKI WAY!). Short walk (2min) to a ski-out once you've got your lift tickets, and the option to either ski right in (after going up an extra lift or two), or take a short walk (4min, partially uphill) from one of the main chairs. Super easy to get back into the home through the keypad garage, which made it really easy to come in for lunch whenever without having to coordinate keys! Hot tub was lovely, however much too small for a 12 person home! It only fits 4 people. Sauna was amazing!!! Only downside would be the driveway was absolutely treacherous! It is extremely steep and was a sheet of ice. One of our vehicles couldn't even make it up the incline, and once we got the second vehicle up, we simply couldn't move it for the duration of our stay! The neighbours were kind enough to let us park the third vehicle in their driveway! Not to mention walking on it was next to impossible, most of us opted to slide down on our bums to avoid having a dangerous fall! Be careful! Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The home is very clean, and SilverStar is an amazing place! Just prepare your group for the small amount of hot water, bring your own paper towels, and be careful on the driveway! ##### Deanna G.
