May it have been a special ocasion, but rather than a hotel, the impression is of a well equipped elderly residence. No possibility to get a beer after 21:30h. And strictly forbidden to drink it outside on the terrace out of business hours. I cant recommend

There were the food of the previous traveller in the fridge in our room. Also the pool area was very cold, not enjoyable swim at all. We liked the view to the lake. The food was great and the staff friendly.

Disappointing Service
Room cleaning service was poor. On three consecutive days we wonder whether the staff even looked in the room! On the one evening we used the restaurant for dinner (entertaining family members who live locally) the wait for a la carte dishes to arrive was unacceptable. The waiting staff were pleasant enough but the meal took nearly 2 1/2 hours, most of us only had two courses and we didn't stop for coffee! The Spa however was good.

relaxing stay - everything worked well
Spent 2 nights here as wanted to visit Kuopio. I note this is not a luxury hotel, but really good value for money. The local area is beautiful, and Kuopio is a short drive away - you can also use the frequent public bus service. Access to the gym (open 5-23) and spa makes a difference here. Breakfast is included in the price - again, not luxurious but perfectly fine. I was happy with the service and thought this stay was great value for money.

The rooms were a little small and didn't come with much but the hotel rooms were very clean. The hotel offers great services for the spa, such as sauna's, pool, hot tub, and the breakfast buffet provides many options.

Best access to the airport, with kind hospitality
I stayed there for two nights, from 1-3 October. Already becoming cold. (3-10 degs.) There was not any shopping points, restaurants, simply along the beautiful lake. (The restaurant is located in the lake-view side.) Restraunt was good enough, and I could warm myself in the sauna. (It's a bit pity that sauna closed approx. at 19:30, so I needed to jump into it.) Kuopio airport has 06:00 flight to Helsinki, so I needed to check-out early. The reception was very kind, they prepared yogurt, juice, fruits at check-out at 04:30 in the morning. It was great!!!

Perfect quiet hotel
Very clean,comfortable hotel by lake. Hotel has sauna and swimming pool and outside exercise area. Breakfast had good variety.

Outdated, pools close at 8pm.
Unfortunately found out that the pools close at 8pm (we arrived at 7:30 to check in, so were not able to use them). Room was two twin beds and the window was actually not on the outside wall, rather looked over reception!

Underwhelming Spa Hotel outside of Kuopio
This hotel was a disappointment. The rooms were drab and the hotel staff were not very knowledgeable about nearby activities.

Palvelu oli erinomaista, viihdyimme hyvin. Altaissa oli paljon aktiviteettiä, vesiliikunta- altaissa pyöri koko ajan taulutv:ssä ohjattua liikuntaa, voi valita eri varjantteja..pore hierontoja, useita kuntosaleja, kaikki vapaassa käytössä.

Huoneenvarustus
varasin huoneen 2 aikuista ja 1 lapsi. pyyhkeitä oli silti vai kahdelle. samoin kylpylätossuja ja kylpytakkeja. sänky oli onneksi niin leveä että mahduimme kaikki siihen. lisähinta lapselle sängystä on mielestäni erittäin huonoa palvelua, sillä loppusummassa mitä huoneesta maksoimme oli kuitenkin huomioitu 3(kolme) henkilöä.

Hotelli oikein siisti ja hyvä. Spa oli mukava ja siisti. Ravintola ei onnistunut meidän kanssa, lähinnä palvelu oli hidasta ja puutteellista, vaikka henkilökuntaa oli hyvin ja vähän asiakkaita. Ruoka ok.

Aamiainen hyvä ja ruokailu. SPA hieronnat vesisuihkut erinomaiset, Erinomainen höyrysauna. Pefletti käytäntöä voisi parantaa. Nyt ei ollut kaikilla peflettiä, kun eivät tajua pyytää respasta erikseen.

En ollut tyytyväinen huoneen siisteyteen. Lattialla oli roskaa ja pölyä, sekä kirjoituspöytä oli tahrainen ja pölyinen, erityisesti pöytälämpun jalan ympärillä oli "villakoiria".
