The views really do look like their promo pics - direct frontal view of snowy peaks. The family room was a good large size, as was the bathroom (rare in Europe!). Hotel is right next to bus stop that goes to Thun, which is perfect if you need the convenience of travel. Staff is very friendly and assisted me when they couldn’t find my booking or work the safe. I dock a couple of stars because the room is slightly dated (no free outlets to plug into next to the beds) and there isn’t someone always at the front desk to help (but perhaps because I went off season). Breakfast served in the restaurant with Mountain View. Food in the restaurant was a bit under standard of what you could expect. Only 5 min walk to the panorama bridge. Perfect stop for one or two nights in the area of Thun lake. They offered dining at late hours of the evening, which was helpful when we got in late and there weren’t many options in the area. The bus comes right to the hotel and took about 40 minutes with stops to get to Interlaken.
