"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us. The inside felt cheap too. "The hotel is in a beautiful peaceful setting in the countryside on the edge of town. I could only hear birds and insects. The room was comfortable and very clean as was the bathroom. The buffet

"Fabulous Parador in the mountains. Upgrade to a Mountain View room if you can. Staff friendly and helpful, excellent restaurant serving the best octopus I’ve ever had. Rooms aren’t huge but are well equipped.Parador easy to find and roads are good. Can’t wait to come back!"

"We had a warm welcome from the owner, and the apartment we stayed in was a good size, with a separate bedroom and living/kitchen area. The apartment is above a garage (separate to the rest of the hostel) and below the owners living area.
