"Bed was very comfortable, bathroom vanity and faucet were new. Tub/shower combo was old and not in the best condition. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast was not that great but overall a good value for the money."

"While the staff was nice, this property was not as pictured. We arrived late at night, there were people (maybe guests?) out front being incredibly loud, barefoot kids playing on the main staircase, food smells permeated everything. We were desperate (everything in RVA was booked and our previous place messed up/gave our room away) so we gave it a shot ...surely it would be different in the room...we could NOT stay there - the door to our room didn't require a key to get in, the window (no screen) was wide open, it seemed like the AC didn't work at all. There was an exposed wire running the length of the room and the mattresses had extensive staining. For $226/night, this is wild. We were in and out within 5 minutes. Reading the other reviews later on, we definitely made the right call to find another spot."

"We booked a suite room for the space. Pros: Very spacious, good water pressure, beds were decadent, continental breakfast was ok. Pool was a bit chilly. Cons: Hot tub didn’t work, lock on adjoining door to suite was broke, door handle and lock (whole structure) to the bathroom was broke and couldn’t close the door fully without being trapped, phone didn’t work, both TVs had inputs that didn’t work and couldn’t connect devices, Fruit loops under the couch. Front desk just added my list of things to a notebook “fix it” list that didn’t look like it had been touch in months, and said maintenance will fix it when they come in…. that’s all we got "

"This is a classic motel with room doors on the outside and no elevator. The property was well taken care of. It all looked like it had been remodeled not too long ago and was kept clean. I thought the bed was comfortable and the TV worked. There was no parking the first night for some reason, but I was able to park at an adjoining property. Our bathtub was clogged the first night, but a man came and fixed it as soon as I reported the problem. Basically, if you can get it at a cheap price, you should be happy enough with it, but there are probably nicer properties nearby. "
