It honestly felt like we were visiting family. The breakfast is delicious, their home is out of this world -- so cutely decorated, comfortable, clean -- and they're very friendly, accommodating and give great recommendations. I had a great stay at the Buckmaster Inn for ski weekend at Okemo. The house is beautiful with many classic colonial touches throughout. Best of all, Richard and Elizabeth are gracious hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. It snowed the last night of my stay and Richard got up extra early to clear the driveway and my car! Liz and Richard, our gracious innkeepers, were exceptional hosts. Their skillful updates breathed new life into their gorgeous 200 year old home. Breakfasts were a highlight, featuring superb dishes like ham and cheese quiche, including freshly baked pies lovingly prepared by Liz. This Inn was built in 1801, so it’s a very old Inn. There are not enough superlatives. Fantastic. Awesome. Amazing. Going back definitely. All rooms are beautifully furnished with four-posters and very comfortable chairs. Place to be lived in. Immaculately clean. As soon as you walk in you want to stay forever. Warm. Delicious homemade breakfasts. Innkeeper Elizabeth is friendly and accommodating. We could have talked for hours.
