"We were very pleased with the two bedroom/2 full bath suite with full kitchen. It was as promised and everything we needed for self-catering (including using the common BBQ) was there. I had messaged in advance if the coffee maker was a Keurig or regular drip coffee maker and was pleased to get a prompt response (regular coffee maker) that allowed us to plan better. For two adults and o e teenager it was the perfect arrangement with TVs on the bedrooms as well as the living room. Location was great. We found a walking shortcut to get to the Cirque restaurant in Lizard Creek Lodge. And there is a convenience store a two or three minute walk away. There are multiple hot tub options including the one by the swimming pool. We would definitely come again. Our three nights were wonderful."

"The place was great, looked just like the photos and everything was in great condition and clean. The room didn’t have AC and it was Smokey all weekend so we couldn’t open the window, but that wasn’t a big issue and without the smoke it would have been a non issue."

"If the hosts aren’t super hosts they should be…or a new category of “super duper outstanding hosts that all others should aspire to”…a bit long tho lol. The place was fantastic!! We were a group of adult women and it was perfect for a laid back, relaxing and fun trip. Thank you Joanne and John for an amazing weekend! No complaints whatsoever!! Would definitely stay again and plan to again next summer!!"
Luxury at Koocanusa Ranch. Hot Tub & A/C

"The cabin was beautiful! The AC was so nice - the cabin is full of light and very open for large family gatherings. Large bedrooms each with lots of storage areas including a mudroom for all of your swimming/boating/camping gear. A huge carpeted basement area for teenagers to hang out, with a big table and chairs for games and visiting, and a large TV and a pull out bed (couch). The cabin had a large dining room table which could seat at least 10, a nice sized kitchen and fridge (with ice-maker). Very private back deck with a hot tub, on a private lot - very quiet outdoors most evenings! The cabin is not very accessible for folks with mobility needs as two of the bedrooms require climbing 16 stairs, however the main floor bedroom has a shower with low sides for easy access. Huge perk: a bathroom for each bedroom, making mornings very easy. One caution: The driveway is at quite a steep angle and took us a few tries with our front wheel drive cars to get up (take a running start and hug the sides where there are fewer small slippery rocks)! The closest (and best) swimming we could find for kids was 25 minutes away at Surveyors Lake - worth the drive. The docks that are listed in the ad (5 minutes away) are not accessible for folks with mobility needs, or if you are carrying a lot (picnic bags, totes, lawn chairs, little kids) as it is a steep hike and you can't get very close by car. Overall we LOVED our stay... beautiful place to have a restful visit. Thank you!!!"
