Stay was fantastic and staff were very helpful! Thank you to the bell service boys (eg. Caesar, Benjamin etc the whole crew!) for helping me get my parcels :) really appreciate it!
Stay 2 nights during Chinese New Year. Feb 9-11, 2024.
No heat in the room. Freezing cold for the first night. Checked with front-desk the next morning and to my surprises to find out an upscale brand hotel has no heating system setup. I was given a portable heater for the 2nd night. Front-desk did not tell me at check-in. I would not have selected this hotel if I had known this in advance.

Good location hotel if you are visiting shenzhen.
Been visiting the hotel many times before the pandemic, it was previous named Marco Polo, I guess now been taking over by Crowne Plaza.
Very safe and convenient area, love it a lot!!

Not 5* quality. No attendant helping with bags and lobby was empty Checked me into a corner room which was so small (kind of room connected to suite). Called downstairs and switched to new room. Mattress is so hard and old. Pillows feel like cement. Stayed at MP Quanzhou few days ago and was delightful. Would NEVER stay MP Shenzhen again. Pass!

Why I stay for he night is because I cannot go back to HK due to protest occurring and trains are shut down. The hotel overall is ok and the room is large. If I need to pick one thing I like, I would choose the size and staff are nice and fluent in 3 language: Cantonese, Mandarin and English
To pick one thing I don’t like: the bar at top floor is closed due to security reason during Chinese National days

Like the hotel, easy to all things. Lots of shops around it, recommended. However, couple bars next to it, lower floor rooms might bother some during the night time.

I stayed on the 33rd floor and even though it was designated as a non-smoking floor, the hallway smelt completely of cigarette smoke. The room is mostly OK but it all smell of smoke. Maybe they were ventilation issues or something when I arrived.

Room is quite compact but well maintained and modern deco.
Before booking at this hotel it’s says stay night reward will be rewarded by hotel.com after stay but email confirmation says otherwise. Clarified with hotel.com the rewarded will be awarded. Indeed after the stay reward night was credited and I needed to scam receipt etc to prove my stay.
Hotel.com says is because I chose to pay at hotel, but halo, this is the option I preferred and available. I think this problem still exist and hotel.com need to sort out with the hotel. Apart from this hassle all is good.

conveniently located near Cocopark. otherwise it is a short distance away from other malls. the loud music & bass from the pubs nearby at night went on till 4am! Nonetheless it was a pleasant stay.

I have stayed in Marco Polo Shenzhen from 15th to 17th May 2019. Everything is good and even the location was very convenient, so near Coco Park.
I was given a room on a non-smoking floor but the next door room had a couple who opened up the room door and smoke. I have to switch off the air-cond as the smoke was flowing into my room through the ventilation duct. Though hotel staff has taken action to warn the couple upon my complaint but they continue to smoke after the staff left.
Question is why can't the they arrange or moved them to smoking floor?

The Marco Polo is our forst choice of hotel when traveling to Shenzhen!
Central location, walking distance to the subway and bullet train station. Malls nearby with restaurants and bars. Staff are always extremely accommodating, very professional and english speaking. We look forward to staying with you again very soon.
