The view was fantastic, my wife is a photographer and spent the early morning on the beach taking pictures. The host was very communicative and nice and provided a welcoming gift the next day with breakfast and coffee delivered to the door steps.The actual property itself is nothing like the pictures which is very disappointing. There is only 1 shower in the entire house which is inconvenient when you have a larger group staying at the house. The house itself is dated and at night, it is not well lit through out the house. Some of the lights were not functioning. The upstairs bathrooms smelled pretty bad, and the water in the shower and sinks have a rusty pipe smell where we all felt like it is not safe to brush our teeth or shower. There is a small twin bed in one of the rooms upstairs that is super uncomfortable and squeaked every time you move a little.Downstairs: as you make your way downstairs, there is a room with a rod and curtain covering it. Looks unfinished and is not listed on the listing. On the last day when we removed linen on the bed downstairs, we found blood stains. After that, we did not touch the other beds upstairs.Outside: the view is beautiful as mentioned but the property needs some attention outside. The deck is caved in a little and the trees and shrubs are overgrown into the walk path heading down to the lake. Even the walk path needs to be updated so it’s safer to walk down.
