Notes for Shelter Cove: visit the Black Sand Beach and the tide pools below the lighthouse. Monitor the tides for the best times to go. Surf Point Coffeehouse has fantastic breakfast and lunch. The house was very clean, which is my wife's most important feature in a VRBO. The views were incredible, and location within Shelter Cove was great. Most Shelter Cove attractions were within easy walking distance from the house. The first night was a little stuffy, but opening the windows allowing in the cool breeze quickly cooled the house off. People are friendly. Waking up to the barking of seals, 2 deer that feed right next to the house, barn swallows flying all around the neighborhood. The views are spectacular both north and south of the property. Getting there is twisting narrow mountain roads but with plenty of turnouts to let faster cars pass. Just excellent ##### Mitchell L.
