Mask wearing was emphasised. Staff were particularly helpfulafter I twisted my ankle the night before we checked out. We arrived at 1pm, two hours before checkin and were told that the room wasn’t ready. So that was no problem. We went for a wander and returned at 3:45, 45 minutes after check in and were told the room STILL wasn’t ready despite arriving earlier and that check in was 3pm. Furthermore, the queue to even get to reception was ridiculous and receptionists were regularly without someone at the desk but not asking anybody to move forward. Lastly, the car parking is a charged service which is not on the hotels.com listing! It’s £6 per 24 hours. The room and location were good, very spacious and clean.
