Offering fabulous panoramic views of the Peak District National Park, this 17th-century barn conversion has been lovingly restored and makes the perfect romantic escape. Bramble Cottage retains its original character through exposed beams and stonework, and has also been lovingly and attractively furnished throughout. The barn enjoys use of extensive gardens shared with the other properties on-site, offering fabulous views and a variety of seating areas which provide the perfect place to unwind on warmer days. The gardens are complemented even further by use of a shared hot tub, Finnish barbecue house (available on request, at cost) and tennis courts. The on-site spa is complete with steam rooms, saunas, foot spas, an aromatherapy room, tropical experience shower and a Rasul mud room, as well as an outdoor area with wood-fired tub (all available at cost). Inspired by the relaxing, calming and revitalising aura of South East Asia, the spa is a haven in which to enjoy incredible facilities, set within stunning countryside, just perfect to energise the soul. Surrounded by open fields and with uninterrupted views of the moors, Smallshaw Cottages are ideally located if you love the great outdoors. Overlooking the Trans Pennine Trail, and with your four-legged friends welcome, local walks are plentiful with many reservoirs and trails on the doorstep. There is an excellent choice of country pubs and restaurants within easy reach, and nearby attractions include the bustling town of Holmfirth, Chatsworth House, Harewood House, the ever popular market town of Bakewell or spa town of Buxton. If you’re missing the bright lights of city life, Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester are no more than a 40-minute drive away. Shop and pub 1½ miles, restaurant ½ mile. Bramble Cottage can be booked together with Birch Cottage (ref UK4185), Rowan Cottage (ref UK4187) and The Farmhouse (ref UK4188) to accommodate up to 16 guests.
