This is a recently remodeled 1867 church converted to a "Chouse". Featuring 2 bedrooms, Full Kitchen, 1 Bathroom, Balcony, Parking, and a Gazebo.. all beautifully complimented by a range of antiques and decorations. 8 Miles East of Hwy 41, a 45 min drive to Oshkosh or an hour to Milwaukee. Just down the road from Lake Bernice & Eisenbahn Bike Trail. I didn't know what a chouse was other than a former church. The photos understated the property. Such a unique house. I love that the owners kept some items to reflect the building's former life as a church but still made it completely homey at the same time. They were very quick to reply to any questions we had. Upon arrival we were greeted with a nice welcome note and some snacks. They made sure the house was stocked with everything we may have needed. The area was super quiet and made for a great weekend. We were there for a graduation in the Fond du lac area and this was only about a 20 minute drive to the town and university campus.
