Previous reviews were spot on. Printers alley is just around the corner from the hotel. Actually, the Indigo Hotel & restaurant have an entrance from Printers alley. I did not find the room as “small” as other reviews reported. I do think they can make a few tweaks that would help with functionality of the room, especially if two people are getting ready at the same time. The full mirror on the bathroom door should be on the OUTSIDE of door, not inside. I think they could have better used space for the towels by placing them under the sink versus the entry stand. I’m not sure why hotels do this, but place a towel hook by the shower. The lobby has a coffee machine. Which we frequented every morning. There is a bodega store about 1 block south of hotel where you can get snacks, water, or miscellaneous items to out into small fridge. The price is VERY competitive considering the convenient location of the hotel to broadway or printers alley. I agree the walk from broadway to the hotel is ALL uphill, but it’s not an issue unless you smoke a pack of Marlboros everyday or don’t ever walk more than from the couch to the fridge. Room service came extremely early. We normally don’t want or request room service unless we are staying longer, so not a big deal. I’m sure we could have called for towels or what nots if needed, but felt the housekeeping came too early if you want your room serviced.
