They are situated in a quiet location, and there are many attractions close by including Pirates Cove with its 18-hole adventure golf, 18-hole crazy golf and the Fun For All The Family attractions by the beach. Shanklin Olde Village is a unique attraction encompassing the central road route through Shanklin with thatched pubs and cottages of historic value with Rylstone Gardens and Shanklin Chine, a deep, wooded gorge with dramatic waterfalls and nature trail. Stayed for a week with our 9 month old baby. We had been told there would be a travel cot, when we arrived we couldn't find it. Eventually found it after calling Emma, but there was no mattress. However, Emma quickly provided one and that was the only hiccup - if travelling with a baby it's worth calling in advance to confirm! The house itself was great. Location was excellent, beautiful beach views, only 5-10mins walk from the village (although up a very steep hill) The house was clean, and equipped with everything we needed for the week. I would highly recommend for a couple, or for a family with 1-2 children.
