Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The three young ladies at the front desk were welcoming and friendly. I was offered a free room upgrade, but I could hear everything through the vents. The occasional mobile ringtone, the hourly shower or rain water crashing against a hard surface, the chatter from the hallway, and etc. I found loose hairs of different textures on the sheets and blanket. One of the bath towels had red food stains from what looked like hot chili oil. The communal spaces were filthy. The washing machines require you to download an app. Luckily, I was only there for one night.
Some feedback for other travelers, the rooms were just ok, but pictures in platform make them to look better than what it is once you get to be in there. Walking distance from the Hotel to the two nearest Subway stations are between 15 to 20 mins walk, the nice's path to Metro is to the Shanghai Train station but the easiest and short is the next one, and last thing, at nights when you are in sleeping mode, people around the property smokes and you get to feel it inside the room since some times it comes from the ventilation system, especially if you have the city view window side from the Hotel, staff is just ok, it does their job but They don't speak English only by the translation apps so not always the communication is efficient as it should be. If I get back to Shanghai again wouldn't rent this place againg for sure.
