Look for the old Shanghai Bank building on the corner where there’s an overpass and that’s your best landmark for finding the place. I had to check in at 1am due to a hassle with my flight and it still went smoothly. Great having a noon checkout too. Some lovely local restaurants nearby. The person at the desk upgraded us to a bigger room as we had to wait a while to check in. The room was indeed bigger than we'd booked and very comfortable, just with some open steps up to the bed that were a little scary in the dark! Everything was fine for us as a cheap one-night stay in Shanghai, no issues. It’s a 5 min walk from Easr Najing Road metro station and you can walk to the bund for the view of the sky scrappers in about 15 minutes. The hotel itself, the staff are friendly even though they speak no English, the use translation apps to answer any questions. Super helpful. The room itself was amazing for the price I paid. The bed was super comfortable and I slept really well after a long day sightseeing. I was given the room which had a seoerste bedroom, lounge area and bathroom. I had no complaints at all. Location is a winner and I was super comfortable during my 3 night stay.
