Musty smelly room, didn't looked like a very well maintained place. Shuttle was convenient during their business hours, otherwise watch out for taxi taking you for a ride looping around the airport trying to gouge you for short trip to the hotel!

Misleading
My main complaint is that their listing says they have luggage hold service. I tried messaging them ahead to verify but they never answered me. It ends up the service is only for 24 hours. Hotel.com should remove this from their listing as it reflects badly in its ability to give us accurate information. Needless to say I cancelled my return flight stay there.

Not the best, but good enough.
Not the nearest, but still near the airport. Shampoo dispenser on wall was very hard to use but still can be used. To go from airport to hotel using their free shuttle, you have to call first, preferably before you arrive, even better, before your journey starts. Otherwise, pickup can be a hassle. To go from hotel to airport, just take the free shuttle according to schedule. Hotel building itself is located at an "isolated" place, not much around it except for roads, parking spaces, trees...

Clean, budget hotel with helpful staff.
Arrived unexpectedly at 9.00am on a 13 hour stopover in Pudong airport. I had booked online; staff were unfazed at the early arrival and I had a room in 10 minutes. They spoke basic English - better than the airport "information" officers. Hotel is basic budget model but very clean, everything worked and plenty good hot water. Same standard as a country town budget motel in Australia but 30% cheaper. Taxi was 50 yuan (about AUD12 ) but I needed the help of a policeman to get the directions over to the driver. Lesson: take a scan of the hotel name in Chinese characters and get acquainted with the location of the hotel. (Hotel has a free shuttle to cover the 3-4 km to and from the international airport but you would need to get the times right to use it on your inward journey). In brief, good value for money. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food.

Basic but near the airport
Extremely basic hotel. There were beds and bathroom and a TV, but the room didn't feel too welcoming overall. It was fine for a night waiting for a flight on the following day. There is a subway station nearby but not too convenient to get to places that have shops and restaurants.

Fine for a stop over
The room was fine to sleep in, it was comfortable and quiet. Staff weren't very friendly but ok. We worked out how to get to our room with the help of another traveller. It was disturbing how much plastic packaging there was (towels etc. were sealed in plastic bags) the breakfast had a wide range of food to choose from, some tepid but there was enough for the family to have a satisfying breakfast.

Nice hotel near Pudong Airport and Line 2 Metro
Hotel was easy to reach from the Metro line 2. Taxi's were available but you can easily walk it. Checkin was fast and easy. Hotel was clean and quiet. Hotel has a restaurant but there are no other shops nearby. There is a luxury mall but you would need a taxi.

Very quiet, excellent restaurant.
There are no shops at all, but this makes it very quiet for sleeping and a railway station is only 8 minutes walk away. Trains are cheap and take you to the city with billions of shops!! Restaurant is very professional at country town prices - not like the city prices! Only fault was no room safe. Norm Jones New Zealand.

Good option for overnight layover
No frills lodging for the weary traveler. I can't speak to the food offerings because I was only there to sleep, but the room and bathroom were serviceable. The main thing: transportation to the hotel from the airport was a trial. I was told by airport staff that a shuttle from their hotel came by regularly on the 4th floor by Gate 7; I waited for an hour and did not see anyone with a marked shuttle. No one answered when I called the hotel. I went back downstairs to the Passenger Transit Center; they made a few phone calls and someone came directly to me about half an hour later, coralled me and a few other passengers, waited for another half hour, and was herded into a shuttle that took me to the hotel. Either get a CLEAR game plan from hotel about someone picking you up or just get a taxi (I would've cabbed it but had no way to get Chinese cash as my card would not work with ANY of the ATMs at the airport). Shuttle next morning was normal. Success.

Not a great transit hotel.....
So, first off, it would have been really helpful to know there are two hotels with the same name. I got a taxi to the hotel, only to be told that I needed to be at the #2 hotel. I waited and got a shuttle. When I got to Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport III checked in. I asked about a wakeup call because I had an early flight. No problem with the wake up call, but the first shuttle to the airport in the morning was too late for me to make my flight. Can I get a taxi? No - not at that early hour said the front desk. Really? Yes - Really! So, I had to leave the hotel by cab and find another hotel so that I would be able to make my flight in the morning. Not really what I was looking to do after a 14 hour flight..... I must say though, the lady at the front desk really did try hard to help me.

Do Not Recommend
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was extremely rude to English speaking tourists. The hotel was dirty. There were cards with hookers phone numbers left under our door when we came back from touring the city which was odd as you needed a key to get to the floor we were on. They tried to charge us again saying they didn't have payment. Overall a terrible experience.

This is an older nice hotel for a quick stay It is close to nothing but is very close to PVG so if you need a place to rest without a long taxi ride it is great Some airport noise great restaurant great staff nowhere to walk to no stores in an industrial like area

Very convenient to the airport
We stayed one night to be near the airport for an early morning departure. The hotel was fairly basic, but perfectly adequate. When we arrived at the hotel, we had a very nice evening meal at the hotel restaurant in a private little room for a group of 5, which was really pleasant. The hotel shuttle bus (every 30 minutes) in the morning was on time and very convenient.

Cheap hotel even for the price.
Before booking it I had read all the reviews saying " good for a night only"and since we were going to stay only one short night, I decided to give it a try but it wasn't worth even the low price. The hotel staff first tried to deny our booking and if we hadn't downloaded it, since they didn't allow internet access till we had checked in, we couldn't have proved it and they would have sent us possibly out in the middle of the night since it appeared to be fully booked.Then, after we proved it, they rushed us in mercilessly without even excuse themselves giving us minimum information about next morning shuttle to the airport. Please note that the shuttle runs only from/to a certain hour. The room and bathroom were clean but really cheap and the mattresses were extremely hard. Look around for other hotels same price!

Great hotel for night before or after plane flight
EXCELLENT hotel with a free van service to and from the airport. Very nice and clean hotel with English speaking staff. BUT if you are looking for a hotel as a tourist in Shanghai, this is not the one. It is very close to a subway stop but it is a very, very long subway ride to center city Shanghai.

Expensive compared to other Jinjiang Inns
only stayed one night. Convenient for airport and free shuttle bus.The staff I met spoke English. Restaurant was good but bit more expensive than usual, as was the 1 night stay. I won't stay there again as it's cheaper to stay in another Jinjiang Inn (Chuansha huaxia road east)a few metro stops away from the airport

Its less than 5 min from airport. The hotel booth is just in front of the Int'l arrivals gate but the shuttle bus works until 23 hrs. Its right in the crossroad of two busy highways so expect some noise. The room was ok, but a old fashioned and not so clean, but the beds and bathroom looked clean enough. The maid was making up some rooms at 7 am a bit loudly. It has a restaurant for breakfast which was good.

Fine for a layover
We only stayed at this hotel for about 7 hours. Just enough time for a solid nap and a shower before heading back to the airport for our next flight. The hotel is nothing special, but it's cheap, a five minute taxi from the airport, and has what's needed for a basic layover. It was easier to get a taxi to the hotel from the airport than arranging for the pick-up shuttle but it costs less than 25 yuan so who cares? In summary - nothing special, but does the job. Good value for money.

Hotel for local Chinese, not for foreign tourists
The room was small and walls were scuffed. The instructions for signing into the wireless internet were complicated and in Chinese. It is relatively close to the airport but not close enough to walk.
