5th stay at this hotel this year, and honestly wouldn’t consider anywhere else. The location is perfect for travelling around Shanghai on the metro, and Jing’An is, in my opinion the best Shanghai district.

The accommodations were fine, the staff were helpful and courteous. Hotel was well situated and it was easy to get around via metro and on foot. Facilities are a bit dated and the rooftop is being renovated.

The room was pleasant enough. The staff were ok, it’s not there fault but English was hard to communicate and explain where things were such as the 9th floor that usually is where we would have breakfast was closed so trying to work out where breakfast was. The bathroom lights weren’t working as well. Overall though it’s an ok place to stay and location was good in my opinion. Thank you

Initially our stay didn’t get off to the best start. The check in time is advertised as noon however upon check in we were told our room wouldn’t be ready until around 2pm. Due to having a long flight and the jet lag, we were keen to get settled. We therefore had to pay a significant amount of money to upgrade to a room we could check into at that point even though we arrived at the correct check in time. Despite this our room was lovely, modern technology, amazing shower. Amenities in the room were amazing and they restocked bottles of water and cans of sprite and coke on a daily basis free of charge. We had a queen bed which was very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location to easily catch the metro however long distance to tourist attractions if you wanted to walk. Staff were helpful, did not speak English but used a translator to communicate. Overall a great stay and good value for money.

The stay was wonderful. It’s located in a prime area, with easy access to Jing’an Temple, Tian’an Thousand Trees and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.The room was clean and quiet, the service was thoughtful and professional. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time!

My family and I had a great stay at this property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very central and convenient. We even found the best strawberries near by. My kids loved it and we had to go back multiple times.

Forget the pictures that advertise this property. At the time of writing, there was no sky lounge or rooftop gardens. They had closed this off to guests. Next, the perception that this property has city views is a myth, which city? Next, only tick the breakfast option if you only eat a limited Asian/Chinese cuisine, otherwise, save your money and walk about 1km to nearest cafes and food outlets. The rooms are recently renovated, not bad, however, if you get a room that smells like the sewerage system, ask to be moved, mine was very smelly to start with, got better. The showers leaked into the toilet area even with door closed flooding the floor. Room cleaning was adhoc at best, we stayed a week, considered moving but decided to not complain to loud, as we didn't really know if this was normal. Positives, relatively close to Metro system, which was excellent, although not disability friendly at all stations. Expedia, take a closer look at the advertising for this product and amend please.

The hotel has a fantastic location. Jing’an Temple, Tian’an Thousand Trees and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street are all within easy walking distance, making getting around very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the service was warm and thoughtful, and the overall stay was excellent!

Ok, where to begin. First off please do not be influenced by the exterior photo of the hotel. It really does not look like this. It’s just a plain looking hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were pretty clean, except for the toilet in my room. I believe the staff cleaned it, but it had an awful smell for the duration of my stay. Sadly it smelled like a sewer. My room also was very noisy. Because the room had windows, even from the 4th floor you could hear most ALL conversations and auto noises coming from street level. I never experienced anything like this. Also on one occasion the cleaning staff did not refill my shower’s body wash, and I had to ask the desk for additional product. The breakfast buffet here appeared as a cost at check-in I’m pretty sure without me asking but I did not complain. But note the breakfast buffet is not really that great. It’s more of a continental type style, cooked cabbage, hard-boiled eggs, small sweet potatoes, noodles, a few types of pastries, yogurt and tea/coffee and fruit juice. It’s a very limited breakfast offering.

I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you could need. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a self-service laundry room on the first floor and of course reliable Wi-Fi. The front desk staff were absolutely amazing. They were incredibly friendly, spoke English, and were always happy to help with anything I needed. Their outstanding service made my stay even more enjoyable. I also noticed that they have a delivery robot that can bring food right to your room. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to stay here again.
