The location is great as it’s near the subway station and a mall, which were convenient since I could get around the city as well as have a lot of shopping and dining options. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and attentive by always checking whether we needed anything, and the service was quick and reliable. The room had a nice view of the city, was decently spacious, clean, and organized. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable, with soft and firm pillows. Lobby did not turn heat on. unbearable to use the lobby bar, restaurants, wait for taxi etc. I went to 4 restaurants on the property, none of the hostesses could speak English or understand the word "menu" Finally settled on a Japanese restaurant on the ground floor because they had pictures I could point to. Had to wear my winter jacket while eating mind you. Went to pay, cannot put the bill on the room. Gave them Mastercard, doesn't work. Visa, doesn't work. Only Chinese Visa /MC accepted, or alipay. They told me to go to ATM and get cash. I booked through Hotels.com, and added breakfast for 4 nights. Went to get breakfast, they did not have any record of me paying already. - At least they accepted my card this time . While eating, I was able to find my receipt - in English, which included breakfast. - they could not understand it. I had to go down to the lobby and talk with reception -they only people that I could communicate with. -- They called teh restaurant on the top floor, I had to back up to them to reverse the charges.
