Top Shamineau Lake Hotel Reviews
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baxter Brainerd Area
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel for the price. Staff was friendly and room was clean!"
The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay."
Quarterdeck Resort & Restaurant
10/10 Excellent
"Great views from resort rooms and several of the cabins. The whole resort was newer with top notch facilities. Awesome place. I wasn’t super impressed with the friendliness and hospitality of the staff at both the bar and restaurant and front desk. They were fine but definitely could be improved. It would definitely improve the experience to hire more outgoing and friendly bartenders and staff."
Super 8 by Wyndham Baxter/Brainerd Area
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and staff were professional. The downside was the breakfast which I would describe as sparse and bland. We made ourselves a waffle and had some watered-down juice and plain tea. The only other offerings were bananas and packaged muffins."
Luxury Lakefront Retreat, Hot Tub, Game Room, Views
10/10 Excellent
"Nice house. Beautiful view. Kids had plenty to do. Had a great time."
5 BR, Movie Theater, Game Room, Swimming Beach
10/10 Excellent
"This house fit our family. We had 10 adults and 3 children. We loved the game room in the garage. Two of the children were 11 year old girls and they had a blast singing along to videos in the theater.. We are checking schedules for next year and would like to stay here again."
Family Getaway on Two Private Lakes
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here with my two young kids and my in laws for the long weekend. The location was just outside of Baxter and was super close to the main drag. Highly recommend. Kitchen had everything we could ever need and the welcome kit with snacks and drinks was greatly appreciated. Would stay here again."
Escape to Your Private Lakefront Paradise on Lake Shamineau. Brand New Remodel!
8/10 Good
"Nice place. Great view. Host was friendly. His dad was friendlier. Lake was low but we were still able to get some pan fishing in."
Brainerd Lakes Cabin Get Away? Yes Please!
10/10 Excellent
"The property was even better than expected and in 10 years of renting a family summer cabin at various VRBO’s , the host was the best by far. Best communication, best check in /check out instructions and timely responses. The layout worked well for our multi generational family( keep in mind there are stairs up and down /split level if anyone I. Your party can’t do stairs) , having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus, beds were comfortable and very well stocked kitchen. We usually bring water toys, life jackets, tubes, etc and this year they never left the car because they supplied everything !!! The close fire pit was a great benefit and the sandy beach ( along with even sand toys!) was great for the kids. The lake was extremely low so unfortunately no swimming but the fishing was excellent and the 3 kayaks was great fun. Highly recommend the property!"
