"From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful experience. We realized at check-in that we had accidentally booked our stay for the wrong dates, which could have been very stressful. Thankfully, Ana at the front desk was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Together with the manager, she went above and beyond to help us arrange our stay and made sure we had a very comfortable room. We truly appreciated her help! Everyone at the hotel was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist. Our room was spotless, had a great layout, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bermuda. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don’t hesitate—it’s an excellent choice!"

Two Bedroom with Private Dock near Golf and Beach

"A great property in an excellent location. Rosalyn and Marshall are such kind and helpful hosts, especially when we were let down at the last minute by our taxi to the airport. They kindly found us another taxi to take us. The property is well laid out with everything you need, the three way showers are lovely, comfy beds, plenty of storage and Air con in the lounge and both bedrooms. The patio area with table, loungers and bbq is excellent. The dock is a nice little area for swimming, kayaking and watching the sunrise, I even saw a spotted eagle ray there. Whale bay beach is 10 mins walk and is like being on a paradise beach, sometimes with no one else there. We downloaded the Shorelink app and got monthly bus passes and used the frequent air conditioned busses and ferrys all over the island. I would love to stay at this property again if we come back to Bermuda, it is in the ideal location between Dockyard and the city of Hamilton, with easy access to nice restaurants, supermarkets, fantastic beaches, boat yards, golf courses and beach clubs. Ellie the cat came to visit us twice a day which was lovely as we have a cat at home. A highly recommended property to rent."

"My partner and I stayed for 4 nights in the 2 hearts suite, and had the most wonderful time. We explored a lot of beaches in the area and liked Cross Bay beach the best. It’s beautiful, we were pretty much always the only people there and it’s easy to access by some 100 or so steps from the property. Wendell is a great host, and took the time to chat and recommend some local places to eat and visit, which were all excellent. We felt at home and loved meeting the whole family. The room amenities are all in good working order and everything was clean and comfortable. I’m going miss morning coffee with that view! So special :) We’ll be back asap — 10/10, highly recommend."

"We loved everything about this property. It has the absolute best views in Bermuda. The villa is very large with space for everyone - sun, shade, pool, beach, game room with ping pong table and extremely well-equipped. Our host, Jessica, was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Gemstones! Lorna and Greg are excellent hosts and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The house really felt like a home for the time we were there, thanks to them. It is amazing that you can walk from the house to the beach and the views from every window are incredible. Would highly recommend. It is truly a special place!"

"Claudette (and Amour) were excellent hosts. All logistical issues went very smoothly. We did not want a hotel-like experience since this was a family gathering and what we got was exactly what we wanted, a home away from home. Location is in Southampton near the Gibb lighthouse on the south end of the island. Know that you can’t rent a conventional auto, only scooters or little two seater vehicles. Taxi transportation can definitely get expensive since you are away from the main part of the island. That said, we got what we wanted. You can walk to the beach and there are walking paths nearby. Definitely download Hitch for Bermuda’s rideshare. There is a lovely yard with lounge chairs and a hammock. The two queen beds were very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Washer and dryer are in process of being hooked up but Claudette offered to do wash for us. Took a couple of days to figure out how to get water in shower but it was there once we were instructed how to get. Everything was super clean. If i was writing a title or headline, it would read “Our Bermuda home away from home.” Thank you, Claudette."
