Check in was easy, but we did have to wait 10 minutes for someone to come, as there is no open office like you would see in a hotel. However, it wasn’t a problem as we’ve rented European apartments on vacation before and this is pretty typical to expect. You just ring the bell and someone makes their way to you at the door. What I liked the most about the place was being right in the city center, the rooftop terrace with tables to have a beer or dinner, well working shower, and a central AC unit (not common in Spanish apartments). My biggest complaint was the dirty linens with hair on them and a nasty glob of hair in the tub drain. I don’t think the place was cleaned well or the sheets changed before we arrived. I had to scrub the shower myself and ask for fresh linens, which were not available until the next day, as we didn’t realize the problem until after office hours at night before bed. It may have been a one off bad day with the cleaning person, but obviously I can’t say for sure.
