BEACH UPDATE - thanks to a massive norwester' storm in February 2026 the beach has been restored at the southern end of Seven Mile Beach so all beach facilities at our condo, including beach chairs, are now available. Located near the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, Tamarind Bay overlooks one of the finest beaches in the world and the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. Our condo (Unit 5) is beach-front ground-floor. This is ideal not only for adults looking to relax with the best ocean views around, but also for families with the kid-friendly swimming pool and sandy beach literally steps away. The bedrooms are spacious and bright, with stunning ocean views from both the master bedroom and the second bedroom. The large 3rd bedroom comfortably sleeps 4 in new queen beds. High-speed WiFi internet access allows you to stay connected with home as you relax in paradise. Tamarind Bay is ideally located, just minutes from the airport and the center of George Town. Nearby restaurants and stores are within walking distance, as is the SMB office for Andy's Rent-A-Car if you want to head off and explore the island. World-class snorkeling is available right outside the door. For even more convenience, all water sports activities - such as jet-skis, parasailing, water-skiing, etc - are available next door at the Marriott. When it's time to unwind, you can relax on a lounge chair on the beach or escape from the sun under a beach umbrella. If it gets too hot, cool off in the sea or in our freshwater pool. We have beach-front barbeque facilities and you can cook outside as you watch a magnificent Cayman sunset. Already thinking of booking again for next year! We have been to many Caribbean islands and I can say Grand Cayman is now on my list of favorites. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Location was perfect and Kathy, the property manager was great. Walking distance to so many places and a short ride to amazing beaches. We went to the public beach, Governors Beach and Spotts beach. Spotts beach was not as close but worth a visit to see the turtles and snorkel. You can also snorkel at beach area directly in front of condo. We did not find the lack of sandy beach an issue at all. Would recommend reserving a trip to swim with the Stingrays, snorkeling at the reef and Starfish beach. We did a trip that included all 3 and was such fun. We ate at Coconut Joes, Peppers, Alfresco, Brooklyn Pizza at Canama Bay and Llyods Smokehouse....all good but Alfresco and Llyods were our favorite. Coconut Joes is at the top of the street and has a nice breakfast. The public bus is easy, inexpensive and a great way to get around. It is $2 CI or $2.50 US to most any place. Bus drivers are friendly, accommodating and helpful. They run constantly and you can easily hop on at the top of the street. Grab you beach chair, pack a cooler and head to the beach or to the restaurants at night. Overall it was an incredible experience, and we hope to go back. ##### Michelle S. This place is one of the best condos we've ever stayed at. It's really a home away from home. The condo is very nicely decorated, stocked with all the necessities, on-site staff, and everything worked. It's a corner unit right on the ground floor next to the ocean. There are more than 20 lounge chairs and 20 patio chairs on the pool deck next to the ocean. The condo is perfectly located in the middle of everything (groceries, restaurants, activities, and very close to downtown shopping. The property only has about 30 units and most of those are full time residents. Those we met were extremely hospitable and helped us feel right at home. It was a beautiful and convenient location. Walk out to the beach, pool and even shopping to walk to.
