Monte da Cardela Nova is located between the Uplands of the Melides Mountain and the award-winning Blue Coast, in the very heart of the Alentejo coast and just an hour away from Lisbon. The pristine beaches and inviting sands make this the perfect place in which to recharge your batteries, far from the stress of day to day life and in close contact with nature.

This part of Portugal is famous for having plenty of sunshine and a pleasantly warm climate; the average temperature is around 17ºC but can often climb to 40ºC in the summer months.

The closest beaches are literally just a five-minute drive away and despite their proximity to some of the area's best known beaches, such as Floodgate, they are more secluded and peaceful even during the peak summer holiday season.

Recognized as being very healthy, the typically Mediterranean local cuisine is prepared with fresh natural ingredients and regional delicacies.

The property comprises 1.5 hectares of land, mostly consisting of pine and cork oak groves and orchards.

There is a swimming pool with 96m2 (16x6m).

The house itself comprises a double room, a twin room (which can be converted to a double on request), a single room, two WCs, a living room with fireplace and a fully-fitted kitchen.

Thanks to the peaceful location, where the silence is broken only by the sounds of nature, such as birds singing, crickets chirping and frogs croaking, combined with the breathtaking view over the coastline, the magnificent uplands of the Arrabida Mountain and Cape Espichel, you can rest assured that your experience will not only be relaxing but also truly unique.

The only difficult decision you will have to make is either to spend your time at the beach or in the pool.

Great Rural Setting

We spent four nights at the house and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Miguel was super helpful on check in and helped us arrange restaurant reservations, horse rides, etc. The house is a great place to relax and watch the sunset after a fun day at beach or touring.
