Sessenheim Holidays from £302

I stayed at this hotel 2 years prior on a bike trip and loved it. with the exception of the breakfast. it was a 6/10 for the breakfast. This trip I was disappointed. I asked for the same room and I got it . They were helpful that way. In the room I noticed it no longer had a mini fridge in it (which is a must for my bookings) At the front desk I was told it was because of their climate initiative ( only to find out later that the higher priced rooms still had their fridges) . Also , I thought the mornings breakfast was even worse . There were fewer items and I am assuming the "hot food" is maybe microwaved. and then put on a warming stove. ??? I think \instead of returning here as one of my favourites, I would try somewhere new.

Room was not made up for 3 people as booked. We had to go back down to reception to let them know (as there are no phones in the room). They did remedy this quickly. The room listing however stated a single bed and it was a sofa bed. The lights in the bathroom were very temperamental - one would go off sometimes and sometimes all the lights would turn off. The water also didn’t come out from the sink tap sometimes.

A very new property. Clean, easy access. Rooms are comfortable and staff is wonderful!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the breakfast. Great service and variety of food options. The room was a bit on the small side but it had everything we needed.
