We had a very nice stay overall at the Iberostar Selection Es Trenc. There was some confusion with our reservation at check-in, and we also experienced an issue with the air conditioning in our room. However, the staff worked to resolve both situations and the AC was repaired during our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is excellent, about 13 minutes from Es Trenc beach, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Despite the initial issues, we enjoyed our time here and appreciated the staff’s efforts to help resolve everything. We had a great vacation overall and would consider staying here again.

Gorgeous hotel. The rooms are lovely with private w/c space which you don’t always get in Spanish hotels. Cleaned 3x a day. Gorgeous sea views from the room. The evening entertainment was great, different options like the outdoor cinema and lots of live music. For the small extra fee it’s definitely worth half board, the buffet food is okay but there’s fresh options like fish, pasta, rice, omelettes etc also which are great. The staff are all really helpful and often giving out free ice creams in the afternoon round the pool! The location is lovely, being able to pop in and out of the sea from the pool and also short walks along the sea front to the different town areas. Taxis in the area are lacking but you can get the bus easily to Santanyí. We only stayed for 5 nights but would definitely come back. My only feedback would be to have a water station closer to the poolside and the lunch time food options could be a bit better/healthier but generally they were fine, didn’t make our stay any less enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Selection Es Trenc. The location is absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself is super clean and stylish, with a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent with a huge variety of options. Staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Overall, it was the perfect mix of comfort, great service, and stunning surroundings — I’d definitely come back!

Throughly enjoyable

We found our stay very enjoyable. The hotel is excellent, rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and keen to help. The area is relatively quiet with some nice hotels and restaurants close by. Pool service could be improved slightly, the pool menu only opens for a couple of hours in the afternoon with limited options.

Newly renovated hotel, amazing rooftop and views onto the sea. However, our shower didn’t work very well, sprayed water everywhere and we had no hot water on our first morning which we had to request get fixed. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool staff were very kind. We had a room with an outdoor tub, and that was really great! We came here for our honeymoon and although we informed the hotel before hand and they responded acknowledging our special event, nothing was done to make our stay feel particularly special. Given this is a 5 star hotel, I didn’t feel like the overall experience met such a standard.

Great place, seemed like they were cutting costs in weird places. Signs in the shower about how much water costs. Wouldn’t let you fill a water bottle in the gym and wouldn’t give you ice. Overall, great view at the pool and a nice buffet, but the strange rules made it seem cheap although they advertise at a luxury resort.

Die modernen, stilvoll eingerichteten Zimmer mit traumhaftem Meerblick waren nicht nur wunderschön, sondern auch super sauber. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das gesamte Personal: unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Man hat jederzeit gemerkt, dass das Wohl der Gäste an erster Stelle steht – kein Wunsch war zu viel. Auch das Frühstück war ein echtes Erlebnis. In einem wunderschönen Ambiente mit direktem Blick auf das Meer konnten wir eine vielfältige Auswahl an frischen Speisen und Getränken genießen. Ein perfekter Start in den Tag! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
