About this property

Traditional Corsican house between the sea and the maquis

  • Corsican escape: a traditional Caseddu between sea and maquis

In the heart of Serra di Ferro, only 45 minutes by car from the airport, a small authentic village nestled between Ajaccio and Propriano, live a unique experience where the sweetness of Corsican life is revealed at every moment. Between the Gulf of Valinco and the Gulf of Ajaccio, this haven of peace invites you to discover a preserved environment, at the crossroads of the Rizzanese and Taravo valleys.

    A lively and welcoming village
Just a few minutes from the seaside resort of Porto Pollo, Serra di Ferro seduces with its warm atmosphere and amenities: supermarket, butcher, bakery, bike and boat rental, restaurants... Everything is there to facilitate your stay, between relaxation and exploration.

    Breathtaking landscapes
Let yourself be carried away by the serenity of the place: fine sandy beaches 7 minutes away by car (Cupabia) or 8 minutes away (Porto Pollo), hikes in the maquis with breathtaking panoramas of the Gulf of Valinco and the Cappanedda tower. Here, every moment is an invitation to contemplation.

    Ideal for families
Perfect for 4 to 5 people, this traditional Caseddu combines charm and comfort: 2 bedrooms, a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor terrace with breathtaking views of the sea and the Gulf of Valinco.
Please note: access to the upper floors is via steep stairs, so access from the outside is preferable if you are afraid of it:)

An ideal setting for an authentic, unforgettable holiday, between idleness and discoveries.

We stayed in the house with our two kids for two weeks. The view is beautiful, and it's a very nice, quiet area. There are some very beautiful beaches (Cupabia Plage) 5 min by car and great restaurants just a short walk away. Check-in and correspondence with Angelique and the owner were perfect. There are just some steep stairs (see picture) to the upper floor with the bedrooms, but these can easily be walked around from the outside. The kitchen is great with everything you need, and there is air conditioning in the bedrooms to have a great rest when it's hot in July ;)

Das Haus liegt sehr schön, der Ausblick ist wunderbar. Die Dame, die uns das Haus übergeben hat, hat uns in einem Notfall sehr geholfen, obwohl es gar nicht in ihrem Aufgabenbereich war.
