Hongdae is really a good place to stay at. Lots of different kinds of restaurants, shops, street activities and close to Seoul Station (10 min by metro). The hostel has a beautiful quiet modern design, it is very agreeable. The staff is great, we had interesting conversations with Sam, a student who speak excellent English (and apparently also at least some Chinese and Japanese). The rooms are decently nicely sized for the price, everything is clean, and convenient. The location of the hostel was in a quiet neighborhood and yet very accessible to the Metro Station and not to mention to the Airport Express. We had a wonderful time at the hostel as our Double Room was spacious, and we enjoyed quite a lot during the breakfast time at the lounge where we can hang out with other visitors. The staff (particularly, Sam & Jinny) were very helpful. They gave us a helping hand in searching for the tourism spots and calling the dinner take-away.
