I really enjoyed my time at suncity guest house. The location is amazing, in the heart of gangnam and 1 minute walk from the sinsa station. My only thing, the shelf on top of the bathroom sink was quite loose, I was afraid to put something on it. Also, this is not negative, just something to know. The walls seems pretty thins. The rooms beside me were occupied by Americans that came back very late at night/ in the middle of the night and they were very loud. You feel moist and uncomfortable the whole time you are there. Even my clothes in the closet felt damp! The owner is well aware of the problems but has one magic solution “open the window”. Even after hours with the window opened, the bathroom never dries up because the air outside is humid too. When it’s hot, the humidity brings in mosquitoes (they refused to put A/C because it wasn’t summer), when it’s cold, you freeze and it’s still humid. The owner claimed that when they did the once a week cleaning, everything had dried just by opening the window. When I came back, everything was seemingly dry until I noticed that one panel of the window was still covered in water and condensation exactly like when I had left in the morning, they had forgotten to wipe that one. So yeah, it hadn’t "dried naturally”, it had been wiped. Note that they didn’t clean the mold… They claimed that it’s that way in Korea…but I spent 3 days in Busan close to the sea and the room was perfectly ventilated because they had invested in an actual system. It shouldn’t be permitted to have guests without that. Korea is a very advanced country in technology so it’s not “Korean structure” that is a problem, it’s the owner not investing in the property and thinking that the location would be enough to draw people in. It’s unprofessional and unhealthy for the guests. ![Dirty sheets まず立地ですが、新沙駅から徒歩2分でとても便利な場所にあります。口コミにもあるホテル前の坂道は確かに急でしたが、キャリーケースは難なく運べましたし、新沙駅を往復するにも特に問題はありませんでした。 現地に到着するまでゲストハウスから何の連絡も頂けず、どうやって入室するのかもわからず不安でした。到着してゲストハウスの入口にLINEのIDがあるのを見つけてそちらに連絡したところ、すぐに返信をもらい部屋の暗証番号を教えてもらえました。オーナー様は事前にメッセージを送ったとおっしゃっていましたが、私がゲストハウスに着いた時刻16:50には受信しておらず、その後18:40にメッセージを受信しました。ただ、LINEでの応対は迅速でしたので問題なく入室することができました。 部屋は清潔でしたし、冷蔵庫やハンガー、ドライヤー、歯ブラシ、シャンプー、シャワールームにはサンダルもありました。ベッドもキレイで匂いや汚れもありませんでしたし、オーナー様がとても気を使われているのがわかりました。ただ、テレビのリモコンの使い方が最後までわかりませんでした。テレビが点いたり点かなかったり意味不明でした。 シャワーの圧力も良かったですし、温度調整も普通にできます。 唯一の難点と言えば、隣室や向かいの部屋からの生活音が丸聞こえで、隣室で夜中3時にシャワーを浴びてる音が響いて目が覚めました。逆に言うと自分の出す音も丸聞こえなんだろうな、と気を使いました。 古さの中にも清潔にしようというオーナーさんの気持ちが感じられるキレイに整えられているお部屋でした。 人生2度目のトイレ、シャワーが一体式でしたが、うまく利用すれば、大丈夫な広さはありました。 トイレ、シャワーが共有ではないのも安心します。 満足度：最初はメッセージのやり取りだけで、チェックインできるか不安でしたが、まったく問題ありませんでした。 シャワーの圧もめっちゃ強いわけじゃないけどチョロチョロでもなく、普通でよかったです！ 新沙駅3番出口から徒歩で2.３分かな？目の前の坂だけ辛いけどまぁ、、許容範囲😂 3番出口はエレベーターないので帰りは1番のエレベーター使用。 ここのホテルの近くにダイソー徒歩2.３分であるので必要なものここで揃えれます！ Wi-Fiも普通にパソコンも携帯も止まることなく使用できました。 conditions & facilities, room comfort ゲストハウスですので、過剰な期待をしてはいけませんが、必要なものは大体揃ってます。掃除は週に1回ですが、タオルは毎日交換してくれ、ゴミも回収してくれます。足りないものは近くのダイソーやオリーブヤングで調達可能です。コンビニも近く、道路はさめば新沙の賑やかな街で遊べます。 新沙駅3番出口が近いですが、1番だとエレベーターがあります。 場所柄、美容整形の方が多いので、長期滞在向けです。テレビの使い方が全くわかりませんでしたが、その方たちは昼間もずっと探しているのでテレビは必要でしょうが、私は語学研修で行ったので昼間不在でしたので特に必要なかったです。 Wi-Fiも早くてよかったです。 チェックインだけ、フロントがないので心配ですが、暗証番号などがメールで届くので、通信可能なスマホがあれば大丈夫かな、と思います。 お姉さんは日本語は話せませんが、会うと笑顔で挨拶してくださり、ダウンタイムを過ごしている方にはとても気を遣ってくれてるようです。(感謝のお手紙がたくさん廊下に貼ってありました) また語学研修に来る際は、お世話になりたいです。
