I oftentimes stayed in the hotel when I visited Korea before. Previously, overall, the quality was okay. This year, the quality has deteriorated so much that I felt like I was staying in some cheap dirty motel.
1 Not Clean
I have a pretty low bar in hotel cleanliness requirement. This ramada doesn't even pass my low bar. I attach a photo of a bed sheet at the time of checkin, which shows a smudged blood(?) mark.
Another picture is a photo of a table top. Obviously, the previous occupant ate something on the table and some of the food marks were still there. I attach a photo of the wet paper tissue after wiping it.
There were other dirt marks such as soap-marks here and there in the bathroom.
2. Front desk not professional.
They received an international package for me and didn't bother to notify me. The package clearly stated my name and the room number. When I called the front desk to inquire about it in the middle of a night, a staff said, "oh, we received it." They must have received it at least several hours before, if not days before.
There was a room change. When I asked about a room availability, a front staff promised to call me after checking. She didn't call. I had to call again to find out what she promised to call me about.
Also observed consistent unfriendly behaviors: handing over an item to me while looking at another direction when they were not addressing any other customer, not bothering to respond to my customary thank you.
