However, it is the lack of property condition itself that was unsatisfactory. Our family of 3 had bug bites everywhere and the bed mattress was poor. It was hard, old, and we could feel the metal coils underneath. In the bathroom, there was mold and the smell of sewer. The shower was poor and it was really hard to adjust the water temperature. Air con and tv which showed a selection of English films if you found the right channel. We could not open the room closet since one of the bed was blocking the closet sliding door. We have been staying at this property for over 8 years. They changed the bath tubs for much smaller ones but that was alright. It’s close to Seoul Station and Namdaemun Market. A further walk away is N Seoul Tower and Myeongdong. Things were great on the first week. On the second week, protesters were outside the hotel, then in the lobby the next day. Then they were on our floor, then in front of our door! Policemen knocked on our door asking questions. Scary! The hotel had issues with owners of the rooms? Staff moved us to another room on our last night. They should have done it when trouble started.
