The staff here are nice and friendly, the communal area is kept clean and is in good shape. The communal bathrooms are likewise cleaned daily. They also do a Christmas party at the hostel if you're there during Christmas like I was. Walking distance to a JR station as well as the Hibiya line. An hours walk to Tokyo Sky Tree. Location wise it's very good, just 10/15min walk to 2 subway stations. The kitchen was OK, some of it needed a deeeeep clean but it's not terrible. The minimalist room was as I expected and suitable to my needs, though the bathroom could use a little cleaning/updating. I was really pleased with my individual room refrigerator and the free wifi was excellent - better than most hotels I've stayed in - as it's (I think) targeted towards university students who need it.
