The paintings in the room and living room were modern and had a unique charm. Dining at the dumpling and soup restaurant run by the owner was an excellent experience at a reasonable price. Having lodged here last January and returned, it's clear this spot keeps drawing me back. The room was spotless, with particularly pristine bedding which ensured a super comfy night. Its quiet location made it the perfect spot to unwind. The beef soup and dumplings served at the North Korean restaurant right at the alley’s entrance were top-notch. Kit, the front desk officer from Hong Kong, was immensely friendly and fluent in English, making communication a breeze. With its reasonable prices and excellent service, I've firmly decided to stay here whenever I'm in Seoul. It feels like I've found my own little haven, much like something out of The Guardian's travel pages.
