When we arrived, the room was clean however, that is when the cleaning service level went downhill. The room was not properly cleaned throughout the duration of our week long stay. Despite requesting housekeeping to empty our bins, sweep the floor, or change our towels/sheets, the staff either didn’t show up or did a rushed, superficial job. It really affected our overall experience. They only changed our towels and empty the trash can. Staff is unavailable to answer the phone. The day that we arrived , we tried to call the hotel to get directions but nobody answered the phone. No breakfast available at all, even if you are willing to pay. . This made me sad. We stayed at this hotel nine years ago and they have free breakfast and it was a good spread. The property itself really had gone downhill from nine years ago. It had a couple quirky things about it, such as the bathroom having frosted glass wall and doors. That's okay when it's just you and a spouse, but when you're a family, it's a little weird. The elevator only held two people with their luggage, so we had to take two trips for our family of four. It was a clean room and a place for us to crash for a night. At least Korea is a safe country and I did not notice anything of value missing. Area is very quiet and it is literally on-top of a steep street. Walkable to nearby cafes and bus stop. May be difficult for people with ambulatory issues. Entrance is a flight of stairs.
