There was also another guest in the same situation as me. Feeling betrayed I showed them proof of paid booking receipt. They kept denying then then blamed expedia but the other guest booked through korean booking app and he has the same problem. After 30 mins of heated conversation (standing as no room for waiting at reception) and demanding my money back, they gave me a room. Room was the worst stay. Everything was sticky, smells of cigarette, heater was not functioning, dusty shelves/desks. Good location which is close to train metro.
