We let the staff know and the young lady with the glasses was very apologetic and and helped us change rooms. We then paid extra for a bigger room. That night my husband showered in the bathroom and he said the water was not draining while he showered. The sink also filled up with water and did not go down well when we washed our hands. When we were out the next day we tried calling the hotel many times but did not get an answer. When we finally got a hold of someone, they said they would take a look. When we got back we went to the front desk and let them know we called about the draining issue. He said it had been taken care of. When we were in our room I had curling sounds from the drain for the next couple of hours. We ended up staying two nights at this hotel when we booked for seven days and went to a different hotel, which we had to pay extra for. We did not feel comfortable. FYI- my husband and I got only one room key. When we asked for two, the man said no it’s our policy to give only one. We asked if we could buy a second he also said no. Felt very safe walking around alone. Lots of tourists during the day for Bukchon village and Changdeokgung palace so plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. 5 mins walk from Anguk metro station. In fact I got all the way there on public transport from Incheon Airport. Staff were lovely especially Teresa who has excellent English. The room was very clean, tidy and well maintained. It is very small though. As I am a single traveller that was ok but no wardrobe or storage space really. Kettle, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower soap all provided. Breakfast was very basic - toast, cereal, noodles, coffee.
