The room, A/C, shower, walls, etc. have black mold. The key must be inserted to turn on A/C so room is always extremely hot when returning, but turning on A/C means you're spreading mold into the room. Shower is on top of toilet, etc. but thats standard for lots of stays in S Korea. Staff was nice when we saw them, no one at the front desk ever though and you just pickup a key with your name on it when you arrive.
