The owners are very friendly and helpful. The family room was small and the beds are on the firmer side. It was uncomfortable for us and we woke up stiff every morning. There are some restaurants in the village but you need a car if you want to explore the surrounding area. The guesthouse is run by a super sweet family. The breakfast is served very nice with homemade bread and tangerine juice. The guesthouse is very near to a scuba diving centre. There are a lot of restaurants nearby that you choose from pasta to Korean grill pork. The Doldam is full of character and charm and more books than you could read in a lifetime! The location offers stunning views of a sleepy harbor and mountains and is convenient to many "must see" attractions. The couple that runs the guesthouse is so warm, friendly and thoughtful. You can tell they truly care about each guest! The room was big, clean and very comfortable! Both dinner and breakfast were healthy and delicious and homemade with some items grown on-site with their kitchen garden. The atmosphere is great and the room I was staying in was clean and with ocean view. This was the best place I stayed during my time on Jeju.
