The floor was so dusty that you will need to wear the room slippers. Cleaning of the room was not done properly also. The shared amenities with Holiday Inn is helpful."

"The service in this hotel is excellent and they had satisfied all our requests very quickly with the best service attitude. Unfortunately, we had to end our stay early due to a medical emergency in our family. Bayan Tree Bintan staff, helped us to find tickets even though the ferry was fully booked. We went to the ferry terminal anyways in hopes that someone will cancel at the last minute. They even offered to hold the room after checking out if we are unable to get the last ferry. The driver even stayed behind without informing us and only left after confirming that we managed to get the ferry tickets. The Hotels.com and Expedia staff was also very helpful and went out of their way to help us with settling subsequent matters in our time of need."

On second night guests moved into the next door room - we could hear all their noise. (There was a door, so presumably this was a ‘family room’). Fridge in room looked new but didn’t work. Towels frayed. All gave the impression needing some tlc. Nowhere near 5*."
